Seven Corners Realignment...

ClassicBuffalo.com Travel - The NYS DOT plan to realign this intersection in Hamburg is on for the Spring of 2007. An alternative plan has been ignored despite opposition from the Town Board, Big Tree VFC and the public to the DOT proposal. Recent changes have made the intersection of Rt. 20 and McKinley Parkway much safer. With minor modifications, the DOT grandeur, costly plan is unnecessary and not wanted. Big Tree Road, Rt. 20A, would be divided and two new T intersections added. Bad idea for this historic east/west route. When is NYS ever going to listen? It's dumb plans like this that drive another nail in the coffin to those considering moving out. Contact NYS DOT with comments.
